Countryside High School has been on block scheduling since the beginning of the school year 2003-2004.  All students are required to take 4 subjects daily during each quarter.  Classes are 85 minutes in length.  Students can earn credits per quarter, 4 credits per term for a total of 8 credits for two terms.

In order to receive a Standard High School Diploma, students must pass the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) Reading and Math with a score of 300 or higher.  In addition, a student must also have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0
